Founded in 1991, ramsac is an independent IT consultancy that offers a 'menu' of outsourced stress-free IT
services that allows clients to match their individual needs.
During those first crucial months in business, ramsac's directors recognised a need to help the company's
progress by building its brand and reputation as a leading expert in the industry through targeted PR activity.
After asking several agencies to pitch, ramsac chose MCC International to manage a full UK campaign, including
press releases, advance features, interviews and by-lined articles.
"When the campaign began we were starting from scratch with no reputation," explains Operations Director at
ramsac, Dan May. "MCC had to build our profile from the ground up. It's been evolving ever since and we now
get calls every other week from publications like CRN asking us for comment."
"The campaign has lead directly to us attracting a number of major new clients, and many of our existing clients
have gained confidence and stayed with us as a result of the press coverage they’ve seen."
The campaign has now evolved, with ramsac directors now being called upon by the broadcast and national media to
discuss remote working and business continuity issues with live interviews on BBC Breakfast TV and Radio 5 Live.
